The media keeps talking about the Russians losing Kharkiv, when they never occupied the city in the first place. The media presumably is referring to the Kharkiv Oblast or the larger region, but they never make that distinction. They appear to be making that same mistake when referring to Kherson vs. the Kherson region.

Who cares as long as the Russians are getting their asses kicked?

I think it's more a case of laziness among journalists. Although, given the declining revenue stream available to news sources, it could be that reporters are overtaxed and don't have the time to get their facts straight.

Nope, it’s propaganda. They have been lying a out story after story since the war broke out.
