*Kenny Copelands; False Claims About Living To 120.*

I'm not a follower of Kenneth Copeland, but I know he's one of the most tremendous theologians of our current age. Who am I, who are any of us, to say one way or another what happened in a private conversation between Mr. Copeland and Almighty God.

1. King Solomon

King Solomon is the richest man in the Bible and the wisest man that ever lived on the face of the earth. His net worth is estimated to be about $2.1 trillion in today's currency. According to 2 Chronicles 9:20, all of King Solomon’s drinking vessels were made of gold. He also owned 1086 talents of gold, four thousand stalls of horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

2. Job

Job was a God-fearing and a righteous man and loved God so much despite his troubles. Because of his commitment to God, God rewarded him with lots of riches that included three thousand camels, seven thousand sheep, five hundred oxen, and five hundred she-asses (Job 1:3)

3. Abraham

Abraham was God’s buddy and is regarded as a father of the faith. He believed in God that he agreed to sacrifice his own son, Isaac. God blessed him by multiplying his household to a great nation, which were the Israelites, and making his name great. Abraham was very rich and owned cattle, silver, and gold (Genesis 13:2). God continued to bless Abraham with riches as he continued to express his faith in Him.

4. Isaac

Isaac was Abraham's son, and he shared in the blessings that God promised Abraham. He lived a prosperous life despite the famine in his nation. He owned thousands of flocks and herds, had many servants and cultivated and harvested a hundred times more than the other farmers. God blessed Isaac so much that the Philistines were envious of him (Genesis 26:14).

5. David

David was the king of Israel and Judah and was well known for his military conquests, which brought him much wealth. He was a musician, a poet, and a young warrior who killed Goliath. King David's net worth is estimated at $200 billion in today's currency. He accumulated a lot of wealth as part of God’s promise to make his name great, and he ruled over Israel for 40 years. He died in good old age, full of days, riches, and honor, and his Son Solomon took over the throne over Israel (1 Chronicles 29:28).
Yes, but that "prosperity" was not monetary wealth. Solomon was not given the Holy Spirit. But he aw a tool to accomplish God's plan for Israel.

While youre at it read what Solomon said about wealth. Then look at the life of Jesus, John the Baptist and Jesus' followers.

He is a more modern day Peter Popoff. Cut from the same mold.

Copeland didn't handle the test the way Jesus did

Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”

10 Then Jesus said to him, [b]“Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve

This guy wouldn't exist without Christians who fall for his bullshit. And he's not the only one living off the gullible.

Seems religious nuts have a long history of getting rich off of others.

Riches of this world were intended for his (God's) people.
Jesus said otherwise. If you store up treasures here you have your reward while you have life.

If you have what you NEED, be content. Then look after others

I see you follow the "prosperity gospel". Good luck with that

That's true however, I'd be careful talking about things you don't know pertaining to God's people.

Only God and K. Copeland know.

Everything else is hearsay and slander.

God also warned about gossip;

Exodus 23

1 “Do not spread false reports. Do not help a guilty person by being a malicious witness.

We must be talking about two different things. I'm not sure what you're talking about, but one of the things I mentioned about Copeland is that he teaches false teachings. Like the "Prosperity Gospel," for one thing. How is merely warning against that hearsay or gossip?

On the contrary, Christians are supposed to correct, exhort, and rebuke when necessary. (2 Timothy 4:2-4) We are called to hold one another accountable (Galatians 6:1), and that's what many Christians have been doing with Kenneth Copeland.

Do you consider yourself a Christian?

Have you ever received a raise at work or do you turn them down?

Also...........

Jesus said many things.

Mark
Chapter 10

25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?

27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Prosperity is taught by God in the Bible.

It's one thing to hold people accountable for something you know they done wrong.

It's quite another to accuse someone of something you don't have a clue about.

Keep turning down those raises at work though, you wouldn't want to prosper.

15th post

I don't demand widows to sacrifice so I can have a net worth of 750 million.

You're on the losing end of the "argument."

Prosperity is taught by God in the Bible.

The prosperity taught in the bible is not the same thing as the "Prosperity Gospel" taught by televangelists who are making a killing off of vulnerable people, and have multiple private jets and mansions. Two entirely different things. Again, Jesus warned about wolves in sheep's clothing. This is also where discernment comes in.
