I don’t think anybody deserves violence bestowed on them. I think Kirk’s death is a tragedy. I also think that reacting to it by saying we are at war with the left and then digging in on making the left the enemy is only making the problem worse.

I think the tone and tenor of our politics is driving people to be highly emotional and even violent. So those who participate in that are feeding the problem and also becoming targets.

I think Trump has been a huge driver of the uncivilized manner we go about our discourse with his trolling and punch back tactics. I think the Left plays a big part in it too as they overreact to everything.

I actually respected the way Charlie went about biz. Had listened to a few of his podcasts with more liberal hosts like Bill Maher, Cuomo, and Gavin Newsom. I respect people who engage that way.
