Karmelo Anthony, Texas teen who snagged $600K in donations after he ‘stabbed football star to death,’ faces trial

It meets the same standard of self defense that shooting two and killing two people in Kenosha, Wisconsin did.
Please forgive me if I mixed you up with someone else, but aren’t you the one who claimed that Anthony was just a kid trying to get out of the rain? That claim doesn’t hold up. I finally got around to checking the weather forecast for that day. It happened on April 2, 2025, in Fresno, Texas, and it was not raining that day. Not that it matters anyway.

The facts are simple: he went into another team’s area, got into a confrontation, and killed one of the players. That’s all the relevant information needed. At the very least, he’s guilty of manslaughter — and probably murder. I say manslaughter because I believe having a weapon like a knife, a large knife, on school grounds is a crime in itself.

I also find it interesting that ABC News reported the incident as happening on a rainy morning, but weather data for that day says it wasn’t raining. If I made a mistake, point it out to me.

The Karmelo Anthony case sparked tensions and backlash in the US following the incident.

On April 2, 2025, at the Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas, a high school track meet turned tragic when 17-year-old Austin Metcalf was fatally stabbed.

No, he shot an unarmed homeless man, and then he shot his way out of a crowd trying to detain him.

The ironic this is if Grosskuertz had put a bullet between his eyes to stop his rampage, the Gun Fetishists would be claiming he was a Gun Owner who stopped a mass shooting.
Rittenhouse shot an unarmed man (Rosenbaum) who was chasing him and, according to defense witnesses, attempting to seize his rifle. He then shot Huber and wounded Grosskreutz while being pursued by people who believed they were trying to stop an active shooter. The jury ultimately found those shootings legally justified as self-defense.
No, he went under a tent to get out of the rain, and some white entitled punks started threatening him
The grand jury found enough evidence to establish probable cause and send the case to trial. Whether that evidence ultimately proves guilt beyond a reasonable doubt is what the petit jury is now deciding.

Translated — you’re just speculating and attempting to tie it to similar trials where the evidence, initiation of threat, circumstances and other key components are different.

Here is another idiot that is trying to rewrite history.
With the Civil War the textile industries in both Britain and America collapsed taking with it most of the wealth created by slavery. Most 'cotton profits' were reinvested in the cotton industry and was lost. After Emancipation slaves actually became a liability, not an asset. Many remained with their former masters but demanded pay for their work.

After the Emancipation Proclamation there wasn't supposed to be anymore slavery. What did America do for the slaves after slavery ended?
