But the access to their seats was much easier to get to. The peasants' concourses to their seats were purposely built thinner to take more time to get there and to give the more privileged a chance to get out faster with their wider concourses.

Not sure, there is probably multiple documentaries on this. In Rome yeah the coliseum had nice luxury boxes. A backwater coliseum in the levant less so.
