Kamala just said "price-gauging"

No. I really like Harris, but I gotta admit disgust with your orange Jesus is the main thing that determines my vote. There are millions of us.
Then you’re a fool. She’s a puppet for Marxists who want to destroy this country. Is your personal disgust with Trump so great that you would prefer to see our country turned into a failing socialist country, with empty store shelves and hundreds of millions of hungry Americans?

The last time I was in the store, I GAUGED the cost of my cart to be around $80 - a lot more than the $65 or so I used to spent for the same stuff under Trump - but I was wrong. It rang up at closer to $90.

They say prices are up by 30%, but in many cases the items are up closer to 50%.

For me the mind-blowing purchase is a bag of white rice. I'm not talking flavored, or Minute Rice. Just white rice. Granted I buy name-brand on this product, but the SMALL bag is over $3.00.

Before Covid it was just under $2.00

That is exactly the most detestable part of the side forcing Harris on the electorate; it counts on the defects of the other side's candidate (Trump) to slip in the most manipulable, least qualified person possible. Both sides run against a lesser less.

/—-/ Switch to Costco. You’ll save the $50 membership on gas if yours has the station. Otherwise, expect to pay 20% less on groceries and more on household items. Kirkland is a great store brand.

Imagine how many democrat commissars harris and Walz will need to investigate bourgeoisie food producers in America searching for price gouging?
/—-/ And even more commissions to investigate price gauging.

More free shit, at the expense of everyone else!!

Yup. Even the cheap basics. A box of cereal is now almost $8 where I live, almost double the price under Trump.

And, pet peeve - AFTER you are blown away by the total at the cashier, they ask you to donate an additional $5 to cause-of-the-week. And THEN, as you swipe your card, you are asked to “round up” for a different cause. And THEN, as your wheel your cart outside, someone at a table for an organization of some sort yells to get your attention and donate to whatever cause THEY are supporting.

I estimate that if I gave, as asked, it would be $7 extra - on top of the inflated prices - each time I go to the grocery store, and that’s 2x a week. That’s about $60 a month just for that one store. Then multiply it by the additional various stores, and I could easily be giving away an extra $150 a month, or $2,000 a year, just on stores asking for extra money.

Well, how many heard about this?

If Trump had said "price gauging" instead of 'price gouging' you know the MSM would have been all over it.

And we would have had at least three threads started about it by now, at least one saying he's demented.

Yes, she's both a brain dead buffoon and a Marxist....But anyone can misspeak a word or two here and there.

This is the game shitlibs play....Let's not also fall for it.

/——/ I no longer feel guilty about not donating to those organizations. And if you donate at the register, the store includes their markup so it’s an additional profit center.

I stopped doing it.

I also stopped being “guilted in” to giving a tip at self-service fast-food places where you’ll around paying close to $20 for a soup, salad, and soda - and the have to go around and get your own soda, go to the counter to pick up your food, and then bus your own table.

What convinced me not to do it is when I learned it is the Employer who chooses the tip screen, including suggested amounts and if there is one in the first place. So what the employer of these fast-food places is doing is enticing workers with the promise that they can double their wage in tips. IOW, he’s making the consumer pay his compensation costs.

No way!

The corner store had a tip jar. A tip for ringing up a purchase and bagging a few items? No, thanks.

I can do you one better. The MOVIE THEATER was guilting people to give the guy a tip for handing you your ticket, after you yourself picked the seat on the screen, and then paid with your credit card on the whatever it’s called. All he did is rip the ticket off when it printed out, and give it to you!

We know the leftist plan, raise prices 20% every four years so that no one can afford to buy anything.
I just went to buy a small carton of rubbing alcohol. It used to be about $1.50 and few years ago, with the generic going for $1.19.

Today? $3.99.

So you're voting for Communist bread lines because Trump hurts your feelings.

I really hope your tender offenses keep your belly full
You know that crazy MAGAs are the only ones who believe that crap, don't you?

Just keep your tinfoil hat tight. You'll be all right.
