Sorry but you're wrong. I'm in MI. We OVERWHELMINGLY voted to legalize pot. Republicans in MI don't care about the will of the voters because our state is so gerrymandered. If their district overwhelmingly wants the rep to reverse himself and he won't, they can recall him, and if they like his position, they can keep voting him back into office and California can pound sand. IMO, making drugs illegal has caused more death and mayhem than the actual substances. Criminals use them to make money, their content is virtually unknown, their strength is unknown and, because they are illegal, illegal firearms often accompany them. Also, some of these drugs may contain medical uses that cannot be studied because they are illegal. Like guns, it's not the inanimate object or the inanimate drug that is causing the problem, it is the individual misusing it. Our laws are too easy on those who commit crimes while on drugs. Just look at Pelosi's husband for one. Making some drugs legal should not come with a rubber stamp 'get out of jail' card for those who harm others while intoxicated.
