I already told you. Encourage people to go to work, instead of telling them Big Daddy Government will take care of them cradle to grave. Eliminate burdensome regulations on businesses so they can expand and hire more people. Eliminate income taxes on everyone making $150K/year and less. Let people keep what they earn.

But it's not so simple. They still might not be able to find work. Right now with Trump the unemployed are facing recession-like opposition in finding work; finding work is a 40-hour-per-week job. Deregulation can lead to corruption. I'm in favor of rewarding people who earn a lot.

Yet dependence can bankrupt the country.

I've lived through unemployment rates of double digits in the 70s, 80s and 2000s and I've never gone more than two weeks without a job unless I didn't want one.
