Yep, I'm an UN-PC stereotyper...when the shoe fits....I believe it's the fault of the UN-religious types in this country, most of whom have relative ethics if any at all, who have basically caused society to degenerate and allow such scum to even exist. Our "system" has become so corrupted by anti-religious liberals who don't believe in Christian responsibility that this evil degenerate will probably get off with just a few years and parole and probably do it again.

I'm not sure I agree, and we can just open this up for debate.

Unless you have evidence to the contrary, our society allowed this scum to exist because he had not committed such a heinous crime prior to this one. Just like all of us are allowed to exist in relative freedom within the limitations of the law UNTIL we commit a crime. That, unfortunately, is the pricetag that goes with a free society.

Liberalism is no more tolerant of evil than conservatives who "in the name of God" commit some of the stupidest crimes. How about blowing up an abortion clinic and murdering everyone inside to protest murder? Or the lame-brain who drowned her children because "God told her to?"

Evil just "is." It doesn't know political boundaries.

BTW, I AM a religious person, and a conservative, and I'd filet this dipstick with a scalpel in a heartbeat. The former has nothing to do with the latter, and the latter has eveything to do with the crime.

You're missing the point....that society has devolved and such actions occur because we've ALLOWED degeneracy and evil to creep up on us and become widespread; we've ALLOWED society to become corrupt. Despite the exceptions, Liberals and the un-religious have led the way.

When behavior is considered to be relative in nature and there is no definitive line to cross, we will sink further and further into degeneracy. It doesn't happen overnight, it's like a frog being heated slowly...eventually he's cooked. Fifty years ago there were battles with liberals about allowing Playboy magazine which was considered by conservatives and the religious to be evil stuff. Playboy and the un-religious liberals won and today Playboy is considered mild stuff compared to what exists today. Is that progress? Today that newborn baby is only one day away from being considered expendable by liberals...everything's all "relative" now and liberal legalities and liberal judges rule the day.

Today we are seeing the horrendous results of our poor societal decisions. Such evil exists because we've allowed it to exist and to grow. That's why I'm for very strict conservative legal remedies regarding pornography and other related issues. We need to close off the sewer pipes that rot the minds and soul of society.

Well, according to my 3rd grade English reading and comprehension skills, the above two statements basically state that liberalism and/or a lack of religion gave this guy the idea to rape a newborn. I'm not missing anything. I don't agree with your statement. And it REALLY gripes my ass you have ME defending liberals, but I believe your accusation is unjust.

I don't disagree with your overall view of the effects of liberalism on our society's morals. I don't however, see how it applies in this case. You don't rape an infant because you sneaked in and read Dad's Playboys, or mommy indulged your desire for chocolate cake for breakfast.

Liberalism doesn't drive sociopathic behavior. There's just something missing inside this idiot that separates us from the animals. He doesn't have jacked-up morals .... he has NO morals, nor any concept of moral consequence. While society may play a small role in allowing the sociopath to operate, it is not in and of itself responsible for the behavior. There're just some wires not making a connection in this guy's brain.

He doesn't have jacked-up morals .... he has NO morals, nor any concept of moral consequence. While society may play a small role in allowing the sociopath to operate, it is not in and of itself responsible for the behavior. There're just some wires not making a connection in this guy's brain.
