I do not think the Popular Resistance Movement are big fans of either Fatah or Hamas, but I do not know what that practically speaking means. At the same time, changes are happening in the WB, changes are also happening with Hamas. They got rid of a hardliner, and what I am reading is they are moving more towards popular resistance and away from armed resistance, even fighting with Salafast groups who will not stop launching rockets.. Hamas has always maintained support from the people by seeming to cater to the needs and desires of the general population. They have long been involved with meeting social welfare needs of the people, for example. That blind Shiek who was their founder used to personally hand out money to people in need, that was before he was assassinated by Israel in an unlawful targeted assassination.
