in many ways it is RW....there are still 14 counties over 6% unemployment....11 over 7%...3 over 8% and 2 0ver 10%...Imperial County which has some of the best farming land in the country is at 19%....yea if you live along the coast with the rich people you are doing pretty good....

I would equate much of California to the NJ pinelands. Dull and forgettable
NJ does have some remarkable scenery if you bother to look.....Beaches, mountains, rivers
But it also has ugly urban expanse and the pinelands in the south

No question that California has spectacular scenery
Yosemite, Coast Highway, Sequoias, Bay Area, San Diego and many more
But driving in between them for hours is just drab, dull scenery

Actually, New York State is a much better drive no matter where you go
