Just finished watching the movie The Last Man on Earth.......

It features Vincent Price and is a horror classic. If you like Vincent Price or horror films definitely check this one out! And it's available on YouTube.
Vincent Price had a couple horror movies during that period. Another one you might enjoy that he did is The Fall of the House of Usher. It's a take on the novel by Edgar Allen Poe. I enjoyed that one as a teen as well.

Based on the novel I Am Legend by Richard Matheson, which was also the basis for the movie The Omega Man starring Charlton Heston and the movie I Am Legend starring Will Smith.

Loved the book, The Last Man on Earth and The Omega Man are my favorite film versions of the book, but I will watch I Am Legend if I come across it...

I forgot about another Poe offering that Price did during that time was The Pit and the Pendulum, LOL, I really enjoyed that one. Scared the hell out of me.

IMO, Price had a lock on the industry. After the originals in classic horror like Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff had their time, Price carried the cult for another 20 years. Everyone else in his era just kind of tried to steal a little magic off from him but none were his equal.

It was low budget zombie film which I hate. However, Vincent Price is good in his role and maybe makes it worth watching. IMHO, there are way too many post-apocalyptic movies about the living dead.

In real life he is the opposite of the characters he plays in most of his movies. He is really a nice person that is not full of himself like most actors. He listens to other people and doesn't talk about himself much. I met him at a party when I was about 12 years old. He was the only person that actually talked me.

LOL, In real life? He's been dead for more than 30 years. FYI, during the era of The Last Man on Earth, Price did The Pit and the Pendulum, The House of Usher, and The Raven. He was the leader in horror films in the late 50s and early 60s.

I like Price. That's the only reason I watched this movie. Yes, I know he has been dead many years. So are the stars for most movies I watch.
