A Half-Million Flooded Cars and Trucks Could Be Scrapped

The estimated number of vehicles ruined by the floods in Houston and surrounding areas is expected to far exceed 250,000. These cars, trucks, etc. are supposed to be scrapped, but that doesn’t always happen.

After the flooding from Hurricane Katrina, many enterprising and unethical entrepreneurs, so admired by conservatives for their profit making ability, cleaned-up and resold hundreds, possibly thousands of autos and trucks that spent days under floodwaters.

Now, it’s fine if conservatives get screwed by the crooks in the U.S., conservatives hate regulations that protect consumers, or any other regulations, for that matter.

However, for the next several months, cautious car and truck buyers nationwide, must take care to either inspect any vehicle they are planning to buy, or, have it inspected by a trusted repair shop or mechanic. Information for the telltale signs of a car that spent time underwater can be found on the Internet.

By keeping well-informed, purchasers can protect themselves. However, FOX News is a wealth of misinformation, and only conservatives will fall for their reports of cheap and dependable cars and trucks for sale.

Our houses mostly slab foundations ? Im guessing basements aren't much a thing down there .

Basements are impossible. The water table is like....2 feet.

That sucks .

We had 100 yr rains here in Mass like 7 years ago . I had two sump pumps running 24/7 in my basement . I get water anyway , people who NEVER had water had their shit flooded .

Now try to imagine dealing with a 800-1000 year rain. That's what Houston is dealing with.
