Grand Juries are totally controlled by the prosecutor. They only get to see the evidence he wants them to, and only hear the witnesses he allows them to. I know, I spent three months on a criminal grand jury. They can’t even ask any questions of witnesses without the prosecutor deciding they were “ relevant” to the case. Add in the fact that every place Trump has been charged are very pro-democratic party and getting indictments against Trump is a piece of cake. A grand jury made up of a majority of democratic voters isn’t going to challenge the prosecutor’s conduct. It will rubber stamp his indictment(s). No evidence challenging the prosecutor’s case is allowed to be presented and the defense isn’t even allowed to observe, let alone present evidence.
