Is it worth it to see Journey in 2022

Do they even sound good

They are in Vegas for several shows

I am debating

Thx

Journey started out sort of "techno bluesy".
By their second album they switched to straight up rock n roll.
Their 4th album, Infinity, in 1978 was probably their best work.
By 1983 they turned to mainly making "arena ballads".
One sappy song after another. Frontiers was a God awful album. Atrocious.

No. If I was going to Vegas I can think of a dozen plus other bands/ musicians I would rather go see.

Lionel Richie
Keith Urban
Luke Bryan
Rod Stewart
Aerosmith
Donny Osmond
Sting
Billy Idol
Santana
Shania Twain
Hell…even Barry Manilow.

Agreed. We plan to be in Vegas around Thanksgiving and hope to catch a show or two. Problem I’m having is paying the exorbitant prices. I guess I’m stuck in the past when I paid $7.50 or so, to see Queen, The Who, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, etc.

I will say I’d never pay a dime to see Donny Osmond or Lionel Ritchie. Just say’in.
