There was a day when journalism meant reporting on exactly what happened. Not manufacturing news. Not putting a spin on it. And not giving opinion. It was simply reporting exactly what happened. Now journalists are encouraging those in the media to spin every story or even outright lie. The silver lining in this dark amd ugly cloud is that it created an opportunity for anyone willing to report the truth - and that lead to outlets such as The Blaze, The Drudge Report, and Breitbart. Let's hope the journalists in this story find integrity and start reporting the facts and nothing else in the very near future.
"Call me naïve, but I expected to learn about fairness, integrity, and hard work. This means giving equal weight to politically divisive issues such as gun rights, women’s health, and policing. Instead, during some training sessions I watched top professionals in their fields encouraging political bias against conservatives before reporters’ pens could even hit paper."
Imagine: Liberal Bias At A Major Journalism Conference
