The Doors and Jimmy Hendrix were great. I didn't care for Janis Joplin much.

saw Joplin at a rock festival, late Summer '69...

had a spot at the front edge of the stage 'bout 25-30 feet from where she stood...

never seen anyone so incredibly powerful... felt like she effin' burnt all the hairs off my body...
