Jon Stewart Jabs Joe Biden
On Monday, after almost nine years, Jon Stewart returned to host The Daily Show to take aim at President Joe Biden. Unlike the many left-leaning news programs, Stewart roasted Biden, trump, and U.S. voters.
Stewart, as usual, pointed out many facts that voters on both sides (and in the center) prefer to ignore. For example, there is not a public appearance made by either Biden or trump when their mental decline is not recognizable. And, that obvious mental decline in both these elderly men is only going to get worse.
Jon Stewart’s return to The Daily Show will continue to highlight the verbal gaffes and mental flubs made by both prospective candidates, mistakes and misstatements voters on both sides (and in the center) will deny occurred by “their guy”.
“Stewart's takeaway was that both men were obliged prove their fitness for office. ‘What's crazy is thinking that we're the ones, as voters, who must silence concerns and criticisms,’ he said. ‘It is the candidates' job to assuage concerns, not the voters' job not to mention them.’ He also said that the danger posed by another Trump term doesn't excuse Biden from scrutiny but ‘actually makes him more subject to scrutiny.’”
So, it appears Stewart’s plan for the months until Election Day to use the truth to offend the vast majority of voters. Who knows, maybe he can jolt the American people back into reality.
