BULLSHIT, speaker-numbnut. The 11,000 figure is a jobs estimate that does match up with an October press release put out by TC Energy, the company that owns the pipeline. The fact that all those positions weren't filled yet is merely a function of the fact that Trump only OK'ed the pipeline work in 2019. Those jobs were six-figure income jobs that will NOT be replaced by working on an assembly line stamping out cheap solar panels.

To add further to the insult: the main criticism for not building and using the pipeline was that it was a potential threat to Alberta’s rivers and forests---- in CANADA, not even our country. And the Canadians were all for it as it will now force them to truck the oil over land all the way to the west coast then ship it by boat, or pipe it, at FAR GREATER RISK to the environment and will then likely instead be GOING TO ******* CHINA.

Just imagine for a minute every house having solar panels:

• Having to remove all that to replace the shingles
• Having them torn off and damaged in high winds or hail (or rocks)

Solar panels are essentially printed photovoltaic cells--- I'm betting some of the minerals must be sourced from CHINA. In order to make cells in the kinds of numbers Robinhood Joe is talking about, solar factories will need to be 90% AUTOMATED and most of the work there will be fairly low paying grunt work servicing the machines.

I BET WITH A LITTLE EFFORT, we could make computers to replace senators and congressmen. Would probably get more work done and a better outcome from our government! I think we should automate John Kerry's job (running a country is really just a set of logical decisions) and send him to a factory to make solar cells at $20,000 a year.
