Maybe we can. Case in point. I just watched a documentary about a lost basilica they just discovered built 1500 years ago just rediscovered because a plane was flying over the area and saw the ruins of the foundation still in the water now visible because water levels had come down due to climate change.

Well, obviously, when the place was built, it was on dry land.

The subject of the interest was due to changes in the area due to earthquakes.

Well, if the water is going down then that can only mean that the area is now FLOODED, in an abnormal state and is actually RETURNING to normal, and climate change in this context is not necessarily a bad thing, but part of a continual long term pattern not necessarily tied to any horrible man made condition as there was no significant carbon footprint by man 1000 years ago.
