John Hinckley Jr., the man who shot former President Ronald Reagan, was granted full-time release Wednesday from St. Elizabeths Hospital, WTOP reported.

Mr. Hinckley shot Reagan in 1981 in front of the Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C. Reagan survived the attempt.
