John Cougers The Authority Song

I never have been a fan of John Couger and dont really care for his songs,they are okay but thats just it so so,thats me anyways. HOWEVER the EXCEPTION for me is THE AUTHORITY SONG. that and Hurt So Good are the ONLY ones of his that i LOVE. Even Hurt so Good my second favorite and the only other one i love though never had the affect on me the authority song did.If i heard it once,i would play it a 100 times over and over again.

I love the music video as well.

yeah i know,i wonder if they paid the traiter multi millions to be that way.i like to try and remember him the way he was back then instead of how he is now. i hope his son sees what a disgusting human being he is and dissowns him but he wont,he will go after the money as well.

the opening guitar solo as well as the drums that just sets the tone for the rest of the song.thats what does it for me with this song that makes it unique for me is that guitar and yeah EVERYTIME i hear the song on the radio i of course think of the video everytime as well you sparky ?

hey bluzman the thing that makes this song for me is how it opens up with the guitar solo and the drums,that so much sets the tone for the rest of the song and WHY this song is unique amongst his other songs.

same thing with bonnie tylers holding out for a hero,the thing that makes THAT song unique and stands alone MILE better than all her other songs is the way it BEGINS with the piano,that totally sets the tone for the rest of the song to be exciting.my second favorite song of hers total eclipse of the heart does not even come close to the enjoyment i get out of holding out for a hero,same thing,I can listen to holding out for a hero 100 times but the other one? twice is enough for me? maybe 3 times.
