Way back in 1962, I was drafted into the Army. At the time Kennedy was president and nobody told me that America was hawkish. Even the Army never mentioned it to me. I was very fortunate that to be drafted, I was given the job of a Platoon Sgt, as a raw recruit. They never told me why i was chosen. It ended up my platoon ranked number 1 and as a result was voted on by the men to go to the leadership academy by Monterey, CA. This got me another platoon assignment in AIT and they promoted me, then pulled it back, due to my not having enough time to be promoted. They did not tell me about this. I was in Germany and looking at my own personal records and there it was documented. Apparently some officer believed I merited a promotion. Few of the troops look at their own personal records. I was able to as the Company Clerk and the Officer in charge of records made mine available to me.
Well Mormons beliefs are not what I call neo con. I was a Democrat there for many years and noted nothing different after I was a Republican. Neo cons merely are former Democrats, like me, Reagan and millions of others who quit being Democrats.
The American people won at the ballot boxes, but they stand to lose everything if they don't stand strong with Trump and his antiwar plan for America.
