Ohhh I don't know... 20 years of history where industry has been complaining they cant find qualified Americans to work for them in highly technical careers, the expansion of the Visa program during the Clinton Administration and screams of pain from amnesty freaks who want to make all those on visas American Citizens. The fact that our nation imports tens of thousands of students from overseas on student visas to become engineers, programmers, scientists and other technical careers.
Fewer Students Major in Computer Science
Declining Interest in Engineering Studies
Degrees earned by Foreign graduate students
As you will be able to see in these articles, the situation has improved a LITTLE since the 1990's, but, not enough to have me thinking it's reversed. So where are these technical people going to come from, AND, will they work for the wages offered? If these jobs do materialize, the chance is better than even those hired will not be Americans because there are fewer of them than foreign born engineers among other science based trades.
It's his equivalent of holding onto the "John 3:16" sign at a wrestling match, thinking he's making a sensical point.
Scientists, back in the 1970s, predicted that by the year 2000 vast parts of the earth would be uninhabitable due to global warming. Scientist are just people - you are aware of that, are you not? They are fallible, just like others.
That would be 'global cooling'. It was predicted we'd be 11 degrees below 'normal', by the year 2000 in 1970. Well thank God global warming put a stop to THAT before we all froze to death.
