You know Marv, I often read about the "old days" when criminals were put on torture racks and tarred and feathered and sometime I think they might not have had it all 100% wrong.

Jack Smith strikes me as just the kind of lascivious boob hiding behind a position in the justice system who might be a good candidate for tarring and feathering.

They stripped you naked then poured boiling pitch over your entire body, covering it all with feathers. Faced with that, I bet a lot more judges, prosecutors and judges would tow the legal line.

Never mind that the president is SEALED in his backseat behind thick bulletproof glass and could not reach the front seat / steering wheel even if he wanted to.

Yep, the more ridiculous the story, the more they promote it. One person here claimed Trump cut his ear on something sharp when he dove to the stage under the gunfire. I guess the four dead or injured people were just incidental to the cause. MAGA staged it all just to help get Trump elected.

They believe it because it is something THEY would do (and probably have done) in similar circumstances to win elections.

Apparently Crooks' bullet could not have been much closer without giving Trump a shave. Trump should have died that day and it is only by a miracle he turned his head just the right way, just enough, at just the right instant. There are some here on the board who are blatantly out about it, and others who have also claimed the Trump assassination attempt was fake.

I estimate probably about 50% of the left overall believe this, and close to 100% on this board:

Believe me, I know. I once wrote a textbook on mental illness (was actually primarily a textbook on applied psychology but it covered all of the sociopathic ego defenses and psychopathic irrational fears and escapes.

If I were younger, I might do a clinical study of 500 far left whackjobs vs. 500 well-balanced normal individuals to see if any basic or evaluated stroke indications can be isolated to see if propensity towards leftism and radicalism can be identified early in life.
