Im not a bourbon drinker but I have friends wjo are All the supernarkets usually have big Jim Beam displays around xmas time. Not so much now. This isnt really the time to pause production. Its the big selling period for all drrinks makers.

I dont think Trump factored in consumer choice when he started his antics. I dont think he is on that level.
I dont think there is any government inferference here or tariff activity. Since trump people are averse to buying american.

Its a bit early to judge. But stopping production is not a sign of a thrivinf economy. I take your point about Jack Daniels. Maybe they are a better run company? Maybe they are less exposed to exports ?
Earlier this year I saw film of Canadian stores taking JB off the shelves. That has to hurt.
And we have already seen the Trump effect on Tesler.People instantly recoil from the paedo bully and Tesler sales have dropped off a cliff.

What you see in the US is not what is seen in the wider world. World citizens arent obligated to prop up the failing Trump economy.
