There was probable cause to impeach him, based on what we all saw and heard.... for those of us that actually saw, read and heard the evidence and payed attention to it's timeline and detail.

What we did not see, is the president trying to show how all of that was simply not true, for various reasons, that would go against that evidence.

I am hoping he actually puts on a defense, like any other defendant would, and give his evidence showing that we are taking the evidence we've seen and heard from the prosecution side... all wrong.

I don't know what evidence you're talking about. We have the telephone transcript where he never threaten Ukraine with aid or anything else. He released the money and got nothing in return. The only witness in the Commie hearing that actually spoke with Trump directly was Sondland. His testimony is that Trump stated no quid pro quo; he wanted nothing in return.

So what evidence do you speak of here?
