Jill and Hunter Biden are taking command behind the scenes at the White House, urging President Joe Biden to fire staff they believed were of disservice to him and to fight on as the Democratic nominee.

Meanwhile, the president's sister, Valerie Biden Owens, who has served as Biden's 'gut check' and closest adviser, is on her way to the White House for the July 4th celebrations, where she will have face-to-face meetings regarding her brother's re-election campaign.
The trio's support for the president comes amid reports he has told allies he is considering dropping out of the race. The White House denies this, saying Biden is in it to win it. Biden and his team are working frantically to shore up support among party members, lawmakers, governors and donors to reassure them he can beat Donald Trump in November.

Among the conversations was talk about whether or not to fire senior White House adviser Anita Dunn and her husband, Bob Bauer, who is Biden's personal lawyer.
Commentary:
I think what we are witnessing now is a sort of democrat civil war between the Obama faction and the Biden faction. Many may think Obama is the Godfather of the democrat party and controls all the levers of power, but this isn't as true as it may appear at first glance. The Biden family has spent the last four years putting their own loyalists into positions of power in the party leadership so it's a much more even fight than it appears at first glance, and the Biden's may actually have an advantage over the Obamas.
In civics textbooks, leaders are supposed to take one for the team. In real life, leaders understand that teams exist to take one, or as many as necessary, for them. Leaders don’t survive for long enough to get to the top by being anyone else’s bullet sponge.
The surprising thing isn’t that Biden or his family aren’t going to just quietly step aside, the surprising thing is that a huge chunk of the Quisling Media and the Democratic Party seriously entertained the idea that they could force him out, and started the hit-job cycle to try to make it happen.
Watching the walk backs will be fascinating, and especially for media figures putting the genie back in the bottle will likely be a massive challenge after spending a few days airing the dirty laundry of “Now It Can Be Said”
This whole thing will become more and more of a circus as the year progresses, it’s gonna be fascinating to watch. To discover that some of these people are as clued into human motivation and election mechanics as the average citizen is eye-opening. Democrats are supposed to be professionals - this stuff is supposed to be their bread and butter, whereas the average citizen is just using a keyboard to issue an extended belch.
Those who are emotionally involved with Biden should be making decisions that will ultimately have huge consequences for things such as national security, world peace and Foreign relations which will affect generations to come. Presently, on the world stage we are a joke right now. But those handling Joe just proves to us again that without direct intervention from his family, he’s completely lost and dysfunctional. They need to step away and let facts dictate what’s best for America.
