in usage, yes
but not in history
i think the Jews were on of the 12 tribes of the Israelites.

and were do the Hebrews come in?
in history---- Judah---I think the third son of
Jacob---was, on the deathbed "WILL" of Jacob---
Jacob names JUDAH as the king of the community----
which was called "ISRAEL" ---since Jacob's alternate
name after contending with the angel Gabriel---became
ISRAEL -----so Israelite is the community of jews at one time
headed by JACOB who passed his position to Judah. The
term Hebrew is supposed to be a kind of ethnic name to
describe that community of people headed by Abraham---
which included Isaac and a bunch of family retainers---eg.
ELIEZER. Moving ahead----since Judah was the named KING
of the whole group-----his kingdom was name JUDEA----thus jews---
HOWEVER the kingdom did split into an "israel" and a "judea"----
purely a political issue-----the two groups did not retain identity as
such----they intermarried and merged into JEWS ---YANKEES are
really from New England----but now----when abroad all USA
people are called YANKEES. Getting back to jews----in the synagogue--
for ritual purposes----The tribe of Levi is divided into COHEN AND LEVITE--
and the rest of the people are Israelite. I may have gotten the details correct ????

Hebrew was the name for people attached to Abraham's monotheism.
Israelites were the members of the 12 tribes if the term is equivalent to "children of Israel" (there is no Hebrew for Israelites)
Jews are those who by birth or conversion are members of the Jewish religion.
