JD Vance Wants Abused Women Not To Be Allowed To Get A Divorce

Yeah, but no sex until marriage. It used to be that's why people married young. They didn't want to wait. Those were better times. It's why the 1950s was perhaps the greatest decade.
I lived through the 50s as kid. Lots of alcoholism and unhappy people. I'd never want to go back to anything about them.

A stable genius wouldn't have picked such a weirdo as VP. Vance is only causing problems for Trump.

More and more of JD Vance's hatred of women is surfacing from his past comments in interviews.

Just two years ago, Vance said it was a bad thing the "sexual revolution" resulted in physically abused women being able to escape their violent marriages.

"This is one of the great tricks that I think the sexual revolution pulled on the American populace, which is the idea that like, ‘well, OK, these marriages were fundamentally, you know, they were maybe even violent, but certainly they were unhappy."

On a more humorous note, Vance also added that the sexual revolution is "making it easier for people to shift spouses like they change their underwear".

When you consider Vance called himself a Never Trumper, and said Trump was "America's Hitler", and how he criticized the ability for people like Trump to change spouses like they changes their underwear, you have to wonder how Shady Vance is able to look at himself in the mirror these days.

If you eject your principles so easily for political gain, what are you, exactly?

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Vance: "And what we have is a lot of very, very real family dysfunction that’s making our kids unhappy.”

Yeah. The Trump kids are definitely not happy people. That much is true.

No one believes that.

Walz had it right; these guys are weird.

"How to create unhappy and dysfunctional children 101"

Dead wrong. Parents divorcing for their own satisfaction makes for miserable and dysfunctional children. This has been proven time and time and time again

As of you know anything about any of that.

But studies do show that bad parent relationships negatively affect the children.

Go check.

Vance didn't even reference this. He didn't say it was good. It was all tied together by the writer.

All this hyperventilating when he's making the point that people used to have terrible marriages and still stay together. He didn't say they even SHOULD, just that they DID

But look. If you were all winning with Harris you wouldn't have to do this. So, great for us
This is Vance himself speaking:

is there audio of jd vance saying people in bad marriages shouldn't stay together - Search Videos

As far as your comment about Harris, it doesn't matter to me which side of the debate one is on, all I care about is the veracity of their statements. You claiming that Vance never said what I posted and that this is just someone else's interpretation of his comments is really telling and would be disappointing as well, had I not already accepted the futility of Trump and many of his followers ever choosing to deal in reality as opposed to the "alternative reality" which apparently provides a much safer safe space than the real world the rest of us have to live in.

We all will be if she wins, after the economy crashes, including the housing market. But of course why care about that when there are hurt feelings to consider?

Peak 21st century

Feelings over bread lines

The only "bread lines" I saw, Islamophobic Twat, was when people made a run on the grocery stores during Trump Plague and cleaned out the toilet paper and bottled water.

Hmmm... I'm starting to see a pattern with Shady Vance.

He marries a woman from a culture where women do what they are told.
He denounces single women as "Childless Cat ladies"
He says women should stay in unhappy marriages.

Context:

Question:
Vance was responding to a moderator who referenced his grandparents’ relationship before asking, “What’s causing one generation to give up on fatherhood when the other one was so doggedly determined to stick it out, even in tough times?”

Answer:

This is one of the great tricks that I think the sexual revolution pulled on the American populace, which is the idea that like, ‘well, OK, these marriages were fundamentally, you know, they were maybe even violent, but certainly they were unhappy. And so getting rid of them and making it easier for people to shift spouses like they change their underwear, that’s going to make people happier in the long term,’” Vance said.

And then:

Question:

VICE News asked Vance’s campaign why he thought “it would be better for children if their parents stayed in violent marriages than if they divorced,” as well as whether he wanted local or federal law changed to make it harder for couples to divorce.

Answer:

“I reject the premise of your bogus question. As anyone who studies these issues knows: domestic violence has skyrocketed in recent years, and is much higher among non-married couples. That’s the ‘trick’ I reference: that domestic violence would somehow go down if progressives got what they want, when in fact modern society’s war on families has made our domestic violence situation much worse. Any fair person would recognize I was criticizing the progressive frame on this issue, not embracing it.

But I can see that you are not a fair person, so rather than answer your loaded and baseless question, let me offer the following: I’m an actual victim of domestic violence. In my life, I have seen siblings, wives, daughters, and myself abused by men. It’s disgusting for you to argue that I was defending those men.”

This is the best the Democrats got?
Personal.attacks?

Can't stand on issues? No ideas?
No platform...."vote for me because the other guy is bad?"

Not a winning strategy. Sounds like losers to me.
