Curtis Houck @CurtisHouck:

Vice President @JDVance on the peace deal between Israel and Hamas: “For months, the fake news media attacked you, attacked the entire team, attacked your approach. You know, the definition of insanity is to do the same thing again and again, expecting a different result. The reason we’re here is because the President actually charted a different course with a different team. He invested a lot of — of authority into Steve Witkoff in particular, and that’s why we’re here. It’s because you did something different. And I think it’s important to recognize that. I also think the President, you know, Marco mentioned the President’s personal touch being a big part of this. The one thing I would say is obviously the president of United States, a New York real estate billionaire, one of the most famous New Yorkers in the world, has a lot of interaction with a lot of people who are very pro-Israel. I think that was an important set of experiences and life — life experiences that he brought to the table. He also, of course, knew one of the most famous Palestinians in the world, Chuck Schumer. And I think without that background of knowledge, it would have been impossible to get us to this point.”

"Gaza ceasefire to take effect Thursday evening, hostages to be returned by Monday

"Hamas will have 72 hours to fulfill its end of the agreement and release all the hostages.

"The terror group may finish releasing the hostages by Monday."

Israel-Hamas ceasefire in Gaza to take effect Thursday | The Jerusalem Post

According to Reuters, a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas will go into effect after the Israeli government ratifies the deal on Thursday evening.

After approval there's a 24 hour period during which the decision will be appealed to the High Court of Justice; Hamas will then have 72 hours to release all hostages. living and dead.

What could go wrong?

Why does Vance need to explain Trump's victories in the Mid East? The short answer is that the mainstream media wouldn't give Trump credit if he found a cure for cancer.

Does Trump deserve credit? Seriously?

He's claimed he stopped 7 wars, most of which haven't stopped, or if they have, would have stopped without his meagre intervention.

One of the, Azerbaijan and Armenia, he couldn't even remember how to say one of them, and got the other completely wrong, calling it "Albania". That's how much effort he personally put into that conflict.

In 2020 Russia brokered a peace deal with the two countries.
In 2023 there was a ceasefire agreed.
Then another one with Trump involved in 2025.

Do you think the conflict is actually over?

Basically, right now, Azerbaijan got a lot of what it wanted, and Armenia, on the back foot because it doesn't have as much oil as Azerbaijan and is poorer for it, had to concede a lot.
And this is the best claim that Trump has.

Thailand -Cambodia was about the Thai military trying to get rid of the Prime Minister and take control of the country again. They got that, and then agreed to a cease fire which was going to happen even if Trump didn't make a couple of phone calls threatening them.

Rwanda - DRC

They went to the US to sign a deal that basically said they'd honor a peace deal from the year before that Rwanda hadn't bothered honoring.

From wikipedia "As of September 2025, Rwandan troops have not withdrawn."

So, no ceasefire. It failed, again.

Israel - Iran

It was an attack by Israel to hurt Iran. It was never going to be a full scale war. Israel did its thing and then succeeded and then stopped.

India - Pakistan.

A conflict that has been going ever since these countries existed, and will continue.

Egypt - Ethiopia

No war. No fighting. They're not even next to each other. Two countries in between. Egypt is angry at Ethiopia because of the dam. Trump managed to stop a non-war. Except it hasn't stopped. Egypt is still pissed.

Serbia - Kosovo

Trump claims to have made a call and this is what he posted "Serbia, Kosovo was going to go at it, going to be a big war. I said you go at it, there's no trade with the United States. They said, well, maybe we won't go at it,"

So, he thinks Serbia was going to do something, he seems to have told someone if there were to be a skirmish, he's stop trade, and there wasn't a skirmish, or it wasn't as big as Trump told himself it would or should be.

The fact that Trump also gave himself, and only himself, credit for defeating ISIS, there's a lot of reason to give Trump credit. Because he takes credit where it is not due.

If he claimed to have discovered the cure for cancer, we'd know he was bullshitting, because he doesn't have the skills for it.

Thank God we have an anti-war president that is prepared for war.

Yes, 7 8 9 wars now stopped. Trump is our greatest president ever

Surely you can put that number up into the billions. How much better does he look when he stopped wars on Jupiter?

Bowman's ball tickling of Trump reminds me of Pence.

Here's a typical Trump Politboro meeting:

If They Make You Swallow Your Pride, They Will Choke Your Talent

Oncologists don't have the skills for it. How do those Eweniversity gradchewits get away will such a massive failure that has led to millions of deaths? Negligent Manslaughter by Mama's Boy nerds who didn't earn a living until they were 30 years old. All to create gutless pushovers who will let themselves get financially raped by corporate patents.

If we had given High IQs the same funding their Preppy future masters get in college, they would have cured cancer 50 years ago.
