What I remember is lining up outside the theater to get into the next show. It was in the 90s and when I got into the theater, they had the AC in the 60s

I thought I would freeze to death

Not sure what the meme has to do with the subject.

I saw Jaws when I was, I think, 13. It was one of the first movies I went to without my parents.

I remember reading the book, and the movie was nothing like the book. (Jaws is one of the few cases where the movie is better than the book.)

Seeing it again when I was older, I got a better apprectiation for what a masterful film it is.

I think I saw it at the Olympic Theater in Cicero.

I'm no expert on films, but to me this one was a classic. Great acting, excellent special effects (for the time), a classic movie score...it was well worth the money, and worth re-watching every ten years or so to pick up stuff that you missed the first time(s) around.

Where were you ??
In the theater seated on the floor.

How did you like the movie in 1975 ?
I probably liked it. Just saw it again on TV a couple weeks ago with Steve Spielberg giving opening narration on the risks he took early in his career to bring the movie to the screen, the problems they had with the shark and shooting under water, and how it almost didn't come off due to technical challenges which would have really hurt his career.
