Depends on the police report as to who was at fault for the accident.
The other driver won't get a penny from Jones if he was in the wrong.

Can't tell for sure, Jerry was moving pretty fast and couldn't slow to avoid an accident. Jerry also moved to the left, into the direction of the turn.

It looked pretty obvious. See the no right turn sign?
That's 4 or 5 lanes of traffic, all going from right to left.
The guy who got hit looked like he was turning left from a middle lane.

Evidently, it's one way, six lanes. Guy did not stop or stall, just made a casual slow turn across a lane or two like there was nothing to worry about coming from behind. Failed to signal. Probably tired and somewhat high or drunk. Police report should reveal that. However Jones (or his driver) appears to have been speeding with no consideration for the slick conditions. Both at fault. To his credit, Jerry dealt with the immediate aftermath like an adult.

As an owner of an NFL franchise, the standards for conduct are high, more so than the players, for sure. Of course, that does not mean they always meet such standards, just look at Daniel Snyder, and to a lesser extent, Jim Irsay, who has addiction and some self admitted mental health issues.

And Jerry was already able to bury the baby momma scandal, he don't need another one to deal with.

There was no reason to slow down like that unless making a turn, but the guy was also at fault. Since he was T-Boned on the driver side, he is going to have injuries, and Jerry might be liable for them. It's up to the ambulance chasers and Jerry's lawyers now.
