Well, that's the great socio-psychological question of our time. Literally. Then why do you support a moron?
It defies explanation.Well, that's the great socio-psychological question of our time. Literally.
I've looked at it, and I've sat here and read posts and talked to them face to face and watched a zillion videos of them speaking about it and watched them interact and carefully observed them in public, for eight years now.
I've also watched sociologists and anthropologists and psychologists try to make sense of it and explain it, but I don't think they're sure, either.
It defies explanation.
Hence; A cult.

Sep 4, 2024 — Cult, usually small group devoted to a person, idea, or philosophy. The term cult is often applied to a religious movement that exists in some degree of tension...........
The actions of these cultists, who sometimes isolated themselves from their families and oriented their lives fully around the cult, triggered widespread alarm. So, too, did the actions of violent cults such as the Peoples Temple, headed by Jim Jones, and the Manson Family, which was led by Charles Manson.
I actually went two or three years into this before I would use that word. It seemed hyperbolic. But yeah, I think it's perfectly legitimate to use. And I do. The final straw for me was when the religious element kicked in. Most cults include some form of religious component. At this point, there are just too many clear parallels to avoid the word.It defies explanation.
Hence; A cult.

^^^From the guy who told us Joe Biden was "sharper than ever" six weeks ago.
LOL
Something is wrong with Trump. He is even less coherent than normal at the few appearances he has not canceled. Trump's recent appearances:
- Swayed for 37 minutes to music in PA
- Canceled 60 Minutes Interview
- Canceled CNBC Interview
- Canceled 2nd Harris Debate
- Fox Woman's townhall with supporters posing as undecideds
- Telemundo townhall disaster
- Backing out of CNN townhall
- Canceled an NRA rally just now.
Why are press, GOP ignoring Trump's cognitive decline? (bostonglobe.com)
We can see the decline in the former president’s ability to hold a train of thought, speak coherently, or demonstrate a command of the English language, to say nothing of policy. So why are Republicans and the press holding Trump to a different standard than Biden?

Apr 7, 2021 · Supporters of former U.S. President Donald Trump got refunds after his campaign billed them repeatedly when they meant to make one-time donations.
It was a big sum for a 63-year-old battling cancer and living in Kansas City on less than $1,000 per month. But that single contribution — federal records show it was his first ever — quickly multiplied. Another $500 was withdrawn the next day, then $500 the next week and every week through mid-October, without his knowledge — until Mr. Blatt’s bank account had been depleted and frozen. When his utility and rent payments bounced, he called his brother, Russell, for help.
What the Blatts soon discovered was $3,000 in withdrawals by the Trump campaign in less than 30 days. They called their bank and said they thought they were victims of fraud.

And, given that TRUMP! is a smart man, there is no reason to think otherwise. From what Trump CLAIMED.
Wow, you sound angry. Might want to talk to someone because the envy of a self-made billionaire is showing.Trump is a lying, idiot.
He's not running anymore because he got kicked to the curb by the party. Left to his own devices, he'd still be running for his old Senate seat.Biden isn't in the election, to lose.
Totally irrelevant, of course. We can be here all day digging up the crass, racist stuff Quid Pro Joe has said if you'd like.Biden is free to say whatever he wants,
He has never talked about another man's penis, Trump did.
Yep..........A "genius"...............And, given that TRUMP! is a smart man, there is no reason to think otherwise.
Trump doesn't even come close to a billionaire.Wow, you sound angry. Might want to talk to someone because the envy of a self-made billionaire is showing.
Bring it.He's not running anymore because he got kicked to the curb by the party. Left to his own devices, he'd still be running for his old Senate seat.
Totally irrelevant, of course. We can be here all day digging up the crass, racist stuff Quid Pro Joe has said if you'd like.
You don't get to the top of the New York real estate market by being an idiot. He's a smart man.Yep..........A "genius"...............
Okay, I'll leave it to the peanut gallery to look up his net worth. He has been and is a billionaire.Trump doesn't even come close to a billionaire.
"Self-made"......Not even close..........
When you take a 100 million dollars and turn it into billions, you're a self-made billionaire, it's just what the words mean. You can hold your breath and stomp your feet, but it won't change reality.
Let's start with the condescending, racist remarks he made about Obama before becoming The Fragile One's errand boy. You remember them, right?Bring it.
In Trump case you get there, by being a con man.You don't get to the top of the New York real estate market by being an idiot. He's a smart man.
Then why is he selling t-shirts?Okay, I'll leave it to the peanut gallery to look up his net worth. He has been and is a billionaire.
When you take a 100 million dollars and turn it into billions, you're a self-made billionaire, it's just what the words mean. You can hold your breath and stomp your feet, but it won't change reality.
WTF?Let's start with the condescending, racist remarks he made about Obama before becoming The Fragile One's errand boy. You remember them, right?
A successful con man is not an idiot. You're making this easy, and you're ignoring his very successful career in New York real estate. Of course, you have to pretend it doesn't exist because of your advanced TDS, but still, it's obvious. In Trump case you get there, by being a con man.
To make even more money, and in this case, a successful campaign ad.

The New York Times reported Tuesday that President Donald Trump received at least $413 million from his father over the decades, much of that through dubious tax dodges, including outright fraud.
The 15,000-word Times report contradicts Trump’s portrayal of himself as a self-made billionaire who started with just a $1 million loan from his father.
The Times says Trump and his father, Fred, avoided gift and inheritance taxes by setting up a sham corporation and undervaluing assets to tax authorities. The Times says its report is based on more than 100,000 pages of financial documents, including confidential tax returns from the father and his companies.
Like Quid Pro being surprised that Obama was clean and articulate, like he expected Obama to show up wearing a loin cloth and having a warthog tusk through his nose.WTF?
Like what?
