It's time for a national walk out. Everyone should not go to work until our representatives ( both republicans and Democrats ) sit down and compromise like they are suppose to do. Extremists have no place in government. They are the problem. If they're not willing to compromise and get government working again it is all over anyway.

Fact. The republicans did the responsible thing and passed a clean continuing resolution to facilitate keeping the gov't open and allowing for negotiations. Schumer and Jefferies have been throwing a hissy fit and are holding citizens hostage to their unreasonable demands. When SNAP/WIC and later the ACA disappear, never to be considered again, maybe they'll learn that tantrums get nothing accomplished.

I agree. Let’s kick Schumer out of office.

That will do nothing.
What needs to be done is that the politicians paychecks be held up along
with the governments pay checks. Puts the pinch on them too.
Besides we do not have that power yet.

Good luck with that.

There are particular things never compromise on or about.
This shut down centers on the Democrats shutting down government, so they get illegals medical costs paid for. We owe them nothing.

Disagree , that would show all of them that we mean business. We're sick of their unwillingness to work together.
Isn't that the same as saying, "If you don't get paid, we're not going to get paid either?" Just what would that accomplish that is any different than Schumer and Jefferies' temper tantrum?

They ar shopping tyranny. No Democratic points were in this bill.

The responsible thing would be an actual balanced budget.

The compromise is passing the clean CR as is.
