Yes. That was different. McCarthy could have sat any moderate on that panel he wanted. He choose poorly in two alt-right rabble rousers who would have just been there to obfuscate and make as much noise as possible. I'm pretty sure there were no petty removals from committees that Democrats committed. I seem to remember a lot of those idiots (Gohmert in particular) keeping their assignments despite their extremely low IQ's and the fact that they don't add much to the policy discussion.
