I'm watching an episode of Bonanza called "Return Engagement". A company of actors are in town putting on a play. The play ends with the sheriff confronting the woman suspected of stealing some valuables and the woman pulls a gun out of a prop box and shoots the sheriff, all part of the act. He falls down and the woman runs off with her lover with all the loot. But there are real bullets in the gun and the actor is actually dead. The woman is blaming whoever handled the props. The actual sheriff said she handled the gun and it was on her.

Weird.

betcha the armorer on the Bonanza movie set was probably some EX WW2 combat vet who wouldnt be such a F**** idiot as to load lead tipped rounds into a revolver and not realize they were not dummy rounds...
