Trump was in Nevada insinuating that California, Oregon and Washington were suffering wildfires due to bad land management. Funny little fact that Trump may not be aware of..
Trump blames California for wildfires, but many of the worst have been on federal land
From your link: Even the Camp Fire, which has become the most destructive fire in the state's history, started
either on or very close to the national forest
So if it is close to fed land, it is considered fed land? WTF?
California is known for bad land management, that people feel the need to not want to be responsible for their terrible management is just more left wing nonsense.
Now 6 of the 16 worst fires were on federal land. considering of the 100.2 million acres in California only 47% is federal, so of the 16 worst fires, 37% were on fed land and 63% was on state land. Remember state land also includes cities, not just forests. Oregon and Washington manage the same way in their respective states.
The federal government will often allow states to manage federal land as given by Congress.
California needs to clean up it's act and protect their citizens.
