Trump is on record of wanting the lawfare/weaponization of government against political opponents to stop. I can't imagine that we'll see any retribution coming from him. I can see the malfeasance, unethical/criminal activity being exposed and made public for all to see and then the people can decide what, if anything, they want to do about it. I do hope that happens. I can see bad actors being expelled from their government positions. That most definitely should happen.

I don't think he'll pardon Hunter because I'm pretty sure Hunter is guilty of the crimes charged. But if Hunter should be sentenced to prison, I would not be surprised if Trump commuted the sentence. We'll see what happens.

And you were not a President leaving office, falsely being told by some people in the National Archives that it was ok to take those documents with him, either. The National Archives ordinarily rents a facility in the town where the president’s moving to, and then they move all the boxes from the White House directly to that facility where they remain under National Archives control. For whatever reason, NARA chose not to do that with Donald Trump.

Perhaps it is ACTUALLY people from ALL ACROSS THE POLITICAL SPECTRUM -- including people who have worked closely with and for him, such his CHIEF OF STAFF, his former WH staff, former WH lawyers, former generals, former cabinet members, former National Security officers, and past & present congressional Republicans -- who have come out publicly despite the danger to their professional lives, their reputations and their very safety, and have expressed profound concern about his temperament, his intelligence, his honesty, his behaviors, his stated plans and his open admiration of dictators and despots.

"I am your retribution", Trump said.

And perhaps the only recourse Trump's groupies have is to either pretend those people don't exist, or that they're Evil Demonic Hitler Commies.

Trump's groupies are as weak and dishonest as he is.
