Yes , it is important to have good trade deals with our friends and our enemies. The trade deals in place were supporting a growing economy. They, definitely could be improved. Trump has turned it into a power grab by Trump. It is more about countries bowing to Trump's power. Trump has to win and they have to lose. No win-win. The countries of the world do not liked being bullied. They will sign new trade deals but the are looking for new trade partners that do not treat them like Trump. As countries move away from a Trump USA, China is becoming stronger in the world.

It is very difficult for you, as a hair on fire person, to understand Trump trying to get better trade deals. That is for sure. China is not becoming stronger in the world, they are struggling with their own inadequacies. It is the US who is becoming stronger in the world mainly because of trump.
