Even if so, the record is very short and they measure the temperatures on only a very small part of it. And whatever the honest situation is, there's nothing we can do to change that. All we can do is learn to live constructively with it.

All the massive wind farms and solar fields, all the closing of coal fired power stations and all the draconian regulations imposed, all the trillions of dollars spent with a 'fight climate change' label on them have not reduced the CO2 in the atmosphere by a single measurable particle or reduced the temperature by a fraction of a degree or lowered the oceans by a single millimeter. It's time we stopped trying to regulate the universe, the sun, Planet Earth and turn our intellect and resources to helping the world constructively adjust to inevitable and always occurring climate change.

If all that effort and all those resources had been directed to helping humankind adapt and adjust constructively to climate change, we likely would have massive water treatment plants economically converting ocean water to potable water by now. Israel has been successfully doing that for their tiny country for decades. We would have learned how to utilize water more effectively for crops and growing and making things. We would be adapting construction to better coexist in changing conditions.

At some time we have to all stop being gullible idiots and stop doing what is unreasonable to do/is useless and start doing what we can do.
