Israel's War Against Hamas - Updates

Knowledge of The Gaza Strip Philadelphi Corridor (GSPC) has been around for quite some time. It is the Elephant on the Table. Many see it but very few want to speak of it in the open. Some outside observers (like myself) thought that it would have been dragged out into the open when they began to corner The Islamic Resistance (HAMAS) around the outskirts of the City of Rafal.

HAMAS had dug tunnels beneath the strip — some wide enough for trucks, according to military experts — and used them to smuggle weapons and personnel into Gazan territory.

The GSPC Tunnel is critical to the logistic effort that keeps the Islamic Resistance resupplied. That is where the Leadership of the Islamic Resistance (HAMAS) ran to and hunkered down with masses of (so-called) protected noncombatants strikes.

The central document to the Issue of control starts with:

Article II. The permanent boundary between Egypt and Israel is the recog nized international boundary between Egypt and the former mandated territory of Palestine, as shown on the map at Annex II, 1 without prejudice to the issue of the status of the Gaza Strip. The Parties recognize this boundary as inviolable. Each will respect the territorial integrity of the other, including their territorial waters and airspace.

As has been stated many times, the Islamic Resistance (HAMAS) has not agreed to terms of peace with Israel. At the same time, Israel did unilaterally withdraw in 2005 that show of good faith on the part if the Israelis was not accepted peacefully by the Jihadists, Fedayeen Activists, Hostile Insurgents, Radicalized Islamic Followers, and Asymmetric Resistance Fighters. It only served to embolden the Islamic Resistance into continuing down the path of violence.

Notice he said Blue Line because Israel has no border there.

There is no question about the long-standing dispute on the matter of the International Boundary between Israel and Lebanon. Unless by some miracle both parties decide to follow the Dispute Resolution Protocols, the demarcation lines, as they are enforced today, will become the international boundary.
