Other harrowing reports from hostages claim that the hostages were held in cages, hostages were not permitted to shower, they were to wear the same clothes for weeks. They were denied visitation by the Red Cross and denied medications.

Even with dozens of hostages released, there are over 100 hostages being held in Gaza, including 9 children, one of which is a 10 month old baby.
