An initiative of the Tzinor program was enthusiastically received with more than two thousand donors within a few hours

An initiative of the pipeline program to establish a fund for donations from government grants raised NIS 1.14 million during the night. The fund allows for donations of between NIS 50 and 10,000, and if the grants are not distributed, the project will be canceled. About 2,500 people have already contributed to the venture.

The fund was established against the background of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's announcement of the distribution of grants in the amounts of 750 to 3,000 NIS to all Israeli citizens, without income tests and without criteria.

"Let's help government grants reach the people who really need them!" Written on the foundation page. "For those who are cut off from electricity, for those who are about to be evicted from apartments. For those who are hungry for bread. We will distribute the money collected here among as many needy families as possible. We will make sure the money goes only to immediate needs and to cover burning debts."

Seems to me that Israel's National intelligence Service was well-utilized to show the Israelis are highly generous people when there's a good cause as healing. And they blessed others financially at the drop of a hat. What wonderful people.

That's some really idiotic populist garbage.

I stopped reading at :

"As Israel is a wealthy, socialist state with world class medical and social services systems in part paid for by the U.S. taxpayer, as well as pensions provided mostly by Germany for all survivors"

Really?? No Israel is not a socialist state.
No, US taxes aren't paying for Israeli social services.
And no, Germany doesn't pay survivors any pensions.
