Only because they made their first major mistake in the run-up to a war, namely, not recognizing a new level of weaponry and training for their adversaries.

They are far more intelligent and skilled than their adversaries and are unlikely to make the same mistake twice.

Next time, they go in, with a level of preparation and support and force-levels designed to take-on another state with its own legitimate armed forces.

Such a level of commitment should more than compensate for the half-assed state to which such improvements might have temporarily elevated Hezbollah.
