Israel the big winner…

So Hamas is back - rifles in the air, marching triumphantly into the very areas Israel withdrew from.
And what’s the first thing they do? Start liberating their own people from the burden of living.
They’re rounding up Gazans in broad daylight -men dragged from their homes, teenagers pulled off the streets.
Some are e.xecuted on the spot, others have their limbs smashed with iron rods -accused of “collaboration” or “spying.”
Many are taken for “interrogation,” meaning: they’ll vanish into basements.
Their crimes; maybe they took food from an aid convoy Hamas couldn’t steal, spoke to an Israeli soldier, or simply belong to the wrong tribe -one that dared to criticize H.amas during the war.
Thousands are expected to die in the coming weeks without trial, without mercy, and without a whisper from the world that claims to care about “Palestinian lives.”
No protests from the “Free Palestine”crowd. No Instagram tears from Bella Hadid, Greta Thunberg, or Susan Sarandon.
No solemn statements from Guterres, Francesca Albanese, Macron, Trudeau, or Sánchez.
Because apparently, Palestinian lives only matter when Jews can be blamed for their deaths. When Hamas kills them, it’s just “internal affairs.”

The hypocrisy is obscene.

They must learn to protect themselves.

I just posted about that in another thread. It’s because a) they can’t blame the Jews, and b) they could care less about Christians.

How depressing. I’m just about to leave for dinner at a friend’s place. I look out of the window, and see a pro pal demo going on in the street. HUGE flag, loud music, and orators with microphones.

I hope they’ve dispersed by the time l leave.

I am sure God is so proud.
Correct. The promised land of Israel belonging to the Jewish people is a 3500 year promised and is mentioned in the New and Old Testaments, as well as the Muslim Koran.

“The "promised land" for Jews is the Land of Israel, which is described in the Torah as a homeland promised to the descendants of Abraham through a divine covenant. This promise, reiterated to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, is a central theme in Judaism and is considered an indivisible part of Jewish identity, history, and faith. The promise is understood as a permanent covenant, with the land seen as having both material and spiritual significance.”

Religious and historical context
  • The Covenant: The promise of the land is an integral part of the Abrahamic Covenant, where God promises the land to Abraham and his descendants as a permanent possession.
  • Divine Command: Some religious authorities view settling in the Land of Israel as a mitzvah (commandment), with various Jewish laws tied to the land and its proper stewardship.
  • Conditional Tenancy: While the promise is viewed as a gift, classical Jewish sources emphasize that inhabiting the land is conditional on the people living up to certain moral and religious standards.
  • Diaspora and Exile: The state of living outside of Israel is often referred to as "galut," which can be translated as diaspora, but also literally means exile or captivity. This highlights the belief that living in the land is the natural state for Jews.
  • Modern Zionism: The concept of the Promised Land is a key tenet of Zionism, the Jewish national movement that aimed to reestablish a homeland in the ancestral land of Israel, culminating in the creation of the modern State of Israel in 1948.

Religious practices
  • Daily prayers: Prayers for a return to Israel and Jerusalem are a part of daily Jewish prayers.
  • Holy site: The land itself is considered holy, and some rabbinic texts suggest that merely dwelling in it can be a source of spiritual reward.
  • Religious laws: Many Jewish laws are tied specifically to the land of Israel and can only be performed there, though not all of these ancient laws have been revived in the modern State of Israel.
