A total of at least 57 – comprising 50 Palestinian and seven foreign journalists – have suffered violent deaths; another 100 have been injured, all in just seven weeks. To put those numbers in perspective, according to the International Federation of Journalists, a total of 68 media workers were killed on a global scale in the whole of 2022.

The IDF have a long history of killing journalists and then lying about it. The ethnic cleansing in Gaza is not something they want publicised. When will the press speak out about the slaughter of its journalists ?
