No, Gaza was part of Palestine that Egypt occupied in 1948 to keep the Zionists from taking it.
The Zionists took it after their sneak attack in 1967.
But they gave it up because at some point, they would have to incorporate those 2.3 million Palestinians into Israel if they didn't.

This is the problem. If you had universal suffrage in Palestine, the Palestinians would outnumber the Zionists and vote Israel out of existence. There are more Palestinians than Israelis.

1978- Israel fumbled around in Lebanon, until the US negotiated a cease-fire.
1982 - Israel fumbled around in Lebanon again, until the US actually sent in Marines to occupy Beruit and prop up their puppet Christian government.
1990 - Isreal was really scared of Saddam, so they manipulated us into going to war with him
2003 - Israel was still really scared of Saddam, so they manipulated us into toppling him.
2011 - Israel didn't like Qadaffi much, so they manipulated us into toppling him, too.

I enjoyed growing up in neighborhoods with lots of Jews in them, going to school with Jews, and working with Jews. Jews are wonderful people. Ashkenazi Jews are the most superior race in existence. There is no elegant way to withdraw from a lost war. At least American forces did not leave clinging to their helicopters like they did in Vietnam. Anyone who faults Biden on this is looking for excuses to hate him.

Biden is fallible, but he is not worthy of being hated.

Biden's only real mistake as far as I can see is that he underestimated the support the Taliban had, and he did not understand how fragile the anti Taliban forces were.
