Who would know better than the person who wrote that piece, Bob, since she was brought up in the Muslim world? Rocket fire didn't come out of the sky, Israel is directly responsible for every rocket fired out Gaza, they reap what they sow, their previous occupation of Gaza and humiliation of the people in every way, even at border crossings israelis soldiers made us sit in the Sun for 7 hours to get on a bus and never brought any drinks for any of the babies who were thirsty. Just suckers. Israel should end it's military activity against Gaza, it's that simple, end their blockade, and stop pointing the finger at other people. Violence stopped completely after this ceasefire, even though 3 Palestinians were shot dead near the border, put that aside. But Israel ended its military attacks against Gaza, of course they still fly drones over Gaza. But only because the world changed, everything around Israel changed, no more dictatorial governments in Arabic countries and still many to go. Israel relied on power to continue military assaults, they felt they could get away with it, and why not? They bombed and humiliated the people, made them dirt poor, devastated their economy and kept them on a brink of collapse. On purpose. To keep everyone stressed. Many people died from stress in Gaza. And now they realize they can't get away with it, even the United States went and told Israel to agree to a ceasefire, and the violence ended. The solution was to stop bullying a defenseless population.

Checkpoints are direct result of Terrorism from the Palestinians. I don't think humiliation is in order, and if that happenes it should be condemned, there is no need to humiliate anyone and children should be taken care of properly, but again, things would have been much better if you havn't harrassed and harmed Israelis. The checkpoint are not there for the joy of us, and we don't put soldiers in there because it gives us a happy.

You want us to end the actions against Gaza? stop the actions against Israel FROM gaza. It is that simple. Since Israel has more power, you should know that Hamas actions won't bring victory, and think of a different tactic. Stop the hateful actions, and there will be no NEED of ANY OF THIS.

Those Palestinians were shot dead because they approached to much and put the soldiers on the borders at risk. anytime we respond we know the results of the situation, might escalate, the situation is fragile as it is, and if a soldier DOES shoot someone, is for a reason. Being fair, we see that besides those few cases, Hamas kept the ceasefire quiet nicely, and Israel didn't attack by air, either. So those few incident don't point on any breaking of the ceasefire.

The Palestinian population is poor because the leadership cares for itself more than the population. Israel gives Gaza TONS of food, the world gives TONS of cash, so where is the money? why you blame it on us instead of your governments which steal from you? Israel gives you money, you own THOUSANDS of shekels to the electricity company, which Israel ignores by the way, so obviously something is corrupted INSIDE the Palestinian government.
