Right wingers going on endlessly about how tough Israel is and yet, they exchanged 1,027 enemy combatants for a single soldier. Hundreds of those serving life sentences for murderous attacks.
Worse, Republicans screaming about the four Americans killed in Benghazi, yet cry for the rights of Americans who join al Qaeda and attack or plan attacks against this country. Why?
1. Republicans don't see Obama as an American so feel he hasn't the right to kill Americans no matter what they've done.
2. Republicans don't give a hoot about the Military and hoped this guy stayed captured so when troops began pulling out, they could scream Obama left an American soldier behind. Now their plans to use this guy have ended.
3. They can't stand that it was a black guy who saved a white guy. Which is why they were especially upset when he took out Bin Laden. They couldn't admit he did what they didn't.
I watched a panel of Republicans which included Micheal Steele, former head of the GOP. They were asked if the US should have left this guy. First a very long pause of silence, then Steele among others, saying that may have been the right thing to do. Huh? What?
Republicans screaming over the right of due process for American born terrorists, but this guy, with zero evidence that he planned any attacks against the US should be left to die? And with Americans gone, die he would.
The bottom line is that Republicans hate Obama and will use anything to damage him politically, but we are on to them. The question, "Should he have been left to die", will be asked many more Republicans. Let's see how they squirm out of this one.
